I'm sorry, the Frame is 32"X 21" so the image itself is close, maybe 30"X19", or bigger, but not smaller.

Grandparents AF Bellows OIl Painting, 32X19
I have cancer and it is not looking great, so I must liquidate all mey teasurs of which there are many. I listed the Bellows n EBay and said, I have neither the time nor the time(or strength, to find an auction house and it's more than I can handle.. I wold love to k now at least the Title, if there is one. It is a huge Bellows with a farm scene (hamlet) with a woman gordenng byy the Thtched smokehouse in front of the cottage, a small girl with tiny dog is fetching water from the Pond, and the Father is Plowing, the Mother and Father are far right and far left, leaving is with the Patch of Blue on the Pond(this painting desperately need s to be cleaned, but right now that can't be a priority, if someone buys it I warned them to have an extra grand to clean and reframe, though the frame is good, the packing has disintegrated. On e-bay, my store name is"The Family Boxes", and my user name is michelle-mae. Please take a look , it is hard to photogragh with glare and you have to come in to see the figures but then you are in the painting!! It is truly a beautiful work of art, carefully kept these 150 years. I assume by hs dates o etchings and watercolors, that this seems to fall into the period he was in , "The Hudson River School of Art, so I think 1860's. TRULY, I have seen many Bellows, but mine is like an optical illusion, It's necessartyto go in to see what the movement of the girl fetching water, the blue reflection on the Pond in the heart of the piece, leading to the Girl and the dog, then you go out 100's of yards to the left where Dad's Plowing and far left, far right Mom's a tillin, but the girl, dog and blue patch on the Pond are like a magnet, yet they are so small. Optical illusion isn't the right word, but "Harem effect?", it is just dimensionally profound, the tiny figures add time and space to the plane and suddenly it is no longer a still~life in your mind, it's like looking at a Drive in Screen, you can't take it all in if you are too close, but yet it draws you in where you get very entertained by the "Family Hamlet, s I call it!! Please if you can tell me a better way to sell this,, or if anyone has auction records. Grandma told me this was their first investment in Art,I should say, this was their first TROPHY of the American Dream, that they were very fortunate to have found significant work right off the boat. Grandma actualy started Nursing School as she showed promise so she got to live with the Grandparents and a little motre luxury than "Red Hill" the Family Farm, where no less that ten kids belong to at any time,From peat brick digging in the hostile County Mayo,Ireland to working as a Psychiatric Nurse for the Vanderbilt's, but they flipped land and art, and I am starting to put the signed Verlys, the Perfect Arabella, by Auguste Walther and an Artist Proof Photograph by Galen Rowell while hanging from a cliff he captures an elusive Peregrine Falcon on their turf!!Moms a tillin, awesome Lithgraph by Pannemaker for Dante's Inferno, "The SAD(?) Love of (senior moment""Love of Giuseppi and ??? , A man is carrying a woman with a(mortal) chest wound to beyond. I have so many great pieces, rare 24 K canvas tempura paintings from late 1800'ds I believe, only ever saw one like it, on Worthpioint and they said they were made to apply to temples and shrines by Monks. I got them behind Notre dame church was a Manuscript Store, I'll be listing all those. They are priced high because I just hope to create a historical Gallery, I already have teachers taking their kids to see the "Contracrs of Indentureshhip from 1805, where the father is selling the son, a time when humans were absolutely considered commodities, to be traded, etc. Techni9cally they were apprenticing, many were just white slaes whose pare t couldn't feed him, can you imagine. Then I have 20 posters, 95[%] nebever out of Mailer from the British Museum of Natura History, it is the Flora of every ecosystem, or 20 of them, with keys "Wildflowers of the Alpine Forests" and gives Latun and English names, so one teacher got another to show hois science clad]seses these Posters, and another is showing h9s kids all the Propaganda Posters my Mokm brought back from her trip to East Black, Checkpoint Charlie and 2 months in Russia, The Posters are awesome, to huge TRYPTICHS, one with Lenin ,m Engels and marx and another ,more graphic art style than portrait, interesting that the Soviet Graphic Arts are now appreciated here as we see in Obaa's Election Posters , once you see them you realizet that we are into the same Graphics as the russkis!!So so much fine art, Furnture ith Giant Lions Heads and winged Maiden Se=ide Tables. ETC ETC. I am too weak to even drive, so this ois the on;y way I coupd thing=k to display and make contact with peple who specialize in Bellows, Or Rowell, or Per Lukin Viol Kluk Kluk Decanters, please write or call, Michelle Amieux, 760-877-5358,

I am looking for 2 images (photo or digital) by A.F. Bellows - Mill Stream (or Old Mill Stream) and The Islet. I am writing a local history and believe these images are scenes in the town I am writing about.

A.F. Bellows Etching
I have an etching entitled "Old Mill Stream" in it's original mahogany frame. The etching has the name James Duthie printed on the right bottom side, and New York Wm Pate & Co. printed on the bottom center. Can anyone give me an insight on this particular etching?

This may be one of the images I am seeking. Please contact me if anyone has either image. Thanks.

A. F. Bellows colored etching
I have a 17-1/2" X 26" piece that (I think) is a colored etching on illustration board, signed by A. F. Bellows. I do not know the name of the work, and have been unable to find any image of it online. I would like to know the value, or any other information about it. The scene is a horse-draw covered wagon crossing a stone bridge in autumn. A man if fishing from the bridge, and there are some farm cattle in a pasture in the background. It is signed in the lower right corner A. F. Bellows, but there is no writings or markings on the back. Info appreciated. :)

Work by A. F. Bellows
I have the same etching and it is hand tinted. The back has a sticker attached when it was framed and it names the piece "Nearest Way in Winter" I am seeing significant deterioration leaching through the back and don't know who to contact to see if it is restorable or worth restoring. Any help would be appreciated.

Wellstood etching
I have been on the internet trying learn about a signed Wm Wellstood engraving that appears to be in the original very ornate frame.
The work shows a woman in a field tending sheep and she appears to be daydreaming.
Not much on the internet, but did learn some things about the father and son (Wm). His father did engravings of famous men ie., presidents etc and the son dis his etchings after famous painting. Have had this engraving for years. Don't know where else to go to see images of his work. Thanks, Debbie

Work by A.F. Bellows
I have a framed and signed A.F. Bellows etching. I don't know a great deal about art and am not sure if this is a print or an original. Underneath the work is printed "painted by A. F. Bellows." "Copyright 1883 by W. Wellstood & Co., NY" and "Engraved by W. Wellstood." I don't see a title, but it is a color print of an ox-drawn cart carrying trees across a frozen lake to a farmhouse. This etching is approx. 18"x30" in size. Any information would be appreciated. Many thanks!!
