Lost Benson paintings
Tom, I noted your comments about Benson. You may wish to go to the Frank W. Benson website and learn more about this artist. As his biographer and author of two books on his work and co-curator of two Benson exhibitions, I am always interested in learning more about works attributed to him for my ongoing research.

my favorite painting is my daughter elizabeth I saw it years ago and have looked for a copy ever since.
you cannot imagine my shock and delight when I found out that I have a painting by the same artist (elenor) and never questioned who the artist was .
