I have been interested in this artist since the day I saw one of his prints at the Museum of Art in Huntington, WVa. (The museum was one of the greatest finds...) The image was of figures in the headlights of a car (at the beach?). Since the I have sought out his work to see....almost all wonderful, and emotional.
I am interested in others' views of his work.
Kerr Eby WWI etching
Info on when Kerr Eby did etching on Marines accompanying Conestoga Wagon to the front, WW I, would be much appreciated.
Has anyone heard of this sketch of UW Marines at Tarawa done by Kerr Eby? Do you know who has it? My father is one of them and I would like to see a better short than was in the Chicago paper. In the paper it was it was in his sketchbook. Has a printing of the book been done?
Thanks for any information.
