George H. Kirschmann, a Connecticut painter of some note and talent was a student of Gruppe and painted with him at Rockport Ma. G. H. Kirschmann also studied with Robert Brackman of Noank Connecticut, Emile Gruppe of East Glouster, Massachusetts and Ivan Olinsky of New York.
