Who was E Biddle.
I would like to know if George Biddle was related to E Biddle. Or who was E Biddle I have one of his paintings. The Escalator. Oil on Canvas.

Seeking Title for Original Oil c1949
My partner recently shared with me an original George Biddle oil painting he has had in his possession for quite some time. The subject matter is rather haunting, perhaps grotesque to some, striking to others...I am undecided. When I asked him what it was entitled, he couldn't say. I've gone through perhaps all of the images available and have yet to come across it. I am hoping that someone may have this information as it seems fitting that it should be named something. The image is quite dark, with a deceased large dog (or perhaps mule) in the foreground and scavenger birds on boulders, availing themselves of a meal. The piece is signed front and back and I believe the date is 1949. It's painted on the horizontal and is about 36" wide by maybe 18" tall. It isn't framed ( should we frame it or would that ruin it's authenticity?). Would love any information on this piece or even where we can search for this title. Thanks in advance to all who respond. Regards.
