I believe I have a print by him called"Grouse on the wing" Did He do one with this title? It has the title of the print hand written along the bottom along with the artist. Did he do this also?

I have 1941 3 grouse in the snow scene painting. It is in great condition and signed is it worth anything? I see that his artwork usually sell in the $30,000 range.

A Lassell Ripley drypoints
The 6 etchings (drypoints) I have are all pencil signed on the lower right with title on lower left - what does the c in circle mean after the title Pheasant Shooting and American wigeon do not have this., In truth I am not sure they are all drypoints and if there is much ihterest in Ripley.

Lassell Ripley Oil Painting of Beach Scene
We have a 9x12 oil painting that we have always thought was a Ripley. It has a label that states it's from the Estate of Aiden Lassell Ripley however it is a beach scene and unsigned. I have seen a beach scene of his, but it's not the typical subject matter for him. Ours is on a canvas board and looks to be the original framing. Do you know if he occasionally didn't sign his work or if the estate sold a piece that was his possession but not painted by him? If anyone has any information I'd be very interested. We also have a painting of Ripley's that is signed.

I have a Ripley print, subject turkey hunt - two men in blind. The original work was signed in the lower right corner and is clearly visible in the print. Below the print in the lower right print is signed - printed - lower right corner in corner in whatever medium Ripley worked in. Below that signature in the lower right corner - off the print - is another signature in script. Trying to determine if this is actually Ripley's signature.

Need a sample to compare.

In the early and mid-1920's, Ripley painted many covers for Adventure magazine. Does anyone know whether any of this art, or any of his other illustration art from this period, survives? I know that many artists, once they moved out of the illustration market, destroyed their earlier work.

1941 3 Grouse under pine tree oil painting snow scene
I have noticed alot of 1941 3 grouse snow scene paintings and i also have one.It is an oil painting of 2 hen birds,one on the left and one on the right with the male in the middle.All are on the ground under a big pine tree in the snow.This was found in Lambertville,New Jersey.Size is Approx.24x36inches.Is this an original?

I am trying to find out if Aiden Lassell Ripley ever signed any of his early oil paintings with just his initials in a monogram format? Thank you for any help you can give.
