I took his studio art class for several years as an
undergrad at Columbia College in
the 1950's. One day,he invited his
friend Henry Varnum Poor to visit.
It was truly a day to remember.

Jackson Heights Mural
Can anyone tell me what happened to Peppino's "Development of Jackson Heights" oil on canvas 6' x 15'8", 1940, Section [[]color sketch in exhibit] ? I am a resident of Jackson Heights and used to loved the painting. When they renovated the station, the painting disappeared. I hope they did not paint over it!
