I own a 3'x2' painting by richard kruger, called " distance view" what do i have?
How amazing to learn that Richard Kruger was actually a known artist! My grandma told us of her first marriage to a struggling artist who could not support her. She worked as a seamstress in Los Angeles, and divorced him for failure to support. Our family has some of his paintings done during his time in L.A. before he was a success!
our painting by the artist
I have a seascape signed by "Richard Kruger" that my grandfather purchased in the 20's or 30's. How do I get it appraised and is this the same artist as "Krueger"?
does anyone own a painting by rich kruger that is NOT a landscape but is of people instead?
I have an oil that is of a woman in repose that looks "classical".
Hello. I was wondering if you have anybody has information about appraising works by the artist Richard Kruger? He created some custom art and furniture for my great grand father, architect, Edward Eyestone Young in San Francisco. I have pictures for reference if requested. The first one my parents own and is 48 1/2" x 38 1/2' (outside dimensions) and 39 1/2" x 29 1/4" (inside dimensions). The second one my aunt and uncle own and I don't have the size for that one. although that is quite large as well.
Any information would be appreciated.

inquiry about old painting
My mother purchased a painting from Chicago (I think). It's "The Glory of Winter" and it's signed by Richard Kruger. Any info is appreciated and she'd love to know estimated value. Thanks !!
I own a Krueger (signed "Rich. S. Krueger", with NY address written on back)that looks nothing at all like these. It's a windmill on the water in moonlight, all in blacks and dark grays (and whites). Looks European rather than American.
