George deForest Brush Brush's daughter, Nancy Douglas Bowditch, whom I visited in l972 in New Hampshire, wrote the 250-page illustrated biography - Recollections of a Joyous Painter, published l970, Noone House, Peterborough, NH. A very precious book on my shelf!

George de Forest Brush I am interested in Brush's American Renaissance portraits for a forthcoming publication. I would be very interested in the location and any information on unknown works in this genre by him.

Aquatint of "The Indian and the Lily" I have an aquatint of George de Forest Brush's "The Indian and the Lily." It measures approximately 6 x 6 inches and was produced by A. W. Elson & Company, Boston. I am looking for information on the production date, edition and value.
Thank you, Richard Hypes
