Wm.P. Posey
I have two paintings of Wm P. Silva from perhaps his early days...they are on wood..one is of Tybee Island and I cant remember the other..will get them out of storage soon..they have notorized statement on back of each authenticating each signed by the son of Silva..notorized in Calif.in about 1948..I am going by memory so may be off on some facts...will contact this board soon when I have the paintings unpacked...I believe the one I remember the most says" Outgoing Ship at TYBEE ISLAND". These paintings are nothing like the ones shown in the galleries as they are actually rather rough and simple..entirely different style. Could they be from his early days????
