Response to Louis Wolchonok Query
Who Was Who in American Art has a paragraph on Wolchonok (1898-1973). He explained his ideas very thoroughly in his three books, Design for Artists and Craftsmen, The Art of Three-Dimensional Design and The Art of Pictorial Composition, avail. thru Amazon, etc. I've been looking to see if anyone has written a study of his work--haven't found one yet.

Louis Wolchonok oil painting
I have an 18x24 oil painting of a young child. It was a gift so I know nothing of the piece or the artist. I think it was sold by Christie's but I'm not sure. Can you tell me something about the artist or the piece. there is no date on it.
