I am Bert G. Phillips great grandaughter. My father William Beutler tells wonderful stories of Dunton and the others. Memories from his childhood. I do know that Dunton often used my Grandmother Margo as a model. One illustration is titled "Margo Phillips Beutler".

Dunton
Dunton did not move to Taos until 1915 after an initial visit in 1912. I am currently working on a catalogue raisonne of this artist.
