It says it was published by Taber Prang. The two other prints say the same on the back. Any info or idea of value would be appreciated.

Information on artist of original oil painintg
I bought a beautiful seascape oil painting from a home. The piece has serial like number on the back and printing indicating that it is original. It has a small piece of paper attach that is a form of a bio of painter. It simply reads; ROSATI was born near the town of Pesaro almost 45years ago (when piece was bought). It also indicates that he learned to paint by the shores of said town. Finally, it indicates that he is now one of the most sought out seascape painters.

I am also the great great granddaughter of Louis Prang. The story of Taber-Prang goes like this, In 1890 cheap imitations of Prang's cards were being made.Louis Prang refused to lower his standards and ceased the production of L. Prang cards. Though he did not stop his artistic painting but continued after merging with a co. called Taber. Taber-Prang then relocated from Boston to Springfield in 1892. Taber is the art company not an ancestor. I have never heard of Talver Prang either.
Taber Prang Print "Lady with Fan" by Faivre circa 1900

Taber Prang Seascape
My husband's uncle left him a seascape painting featuring a single clipper ship done in beautiful blues and gold tones. The painting is framed under glass & bears the signature Taber Prang in the lower righthand corner. The backing is tagged Original Pastel Painting by T. Prang. It was sold by the Guenthers Gallery, Cleveland, OH. Is there anything you can tell us about the artist? We've read that Taber Prang was a print company
Louis Prang Print
Are you sure it is not "Taber Prang". They were the Prang company in the early 1900s and distributed these prints.
I am the great great granddaughter of Louis Prang.I have much knowledge on Louis Prang as well as some original works.I have never heard of talver prang.
I am looking for info on a pastel( maybe watercolor)by Talver Prang that I own.It is a seascape,35"x15",with a single clipper type ship. It is in the origlnal frame and is probably from around the early 1900's. Could this be a relative of Louis prang?
