Ben Lomond by Alfred de Breanski
I have a oil on canvas painting 24" x 36" signed lower right corner Alfred de Breanski. The back of the painting is signed Alfred de Breanski with the title Ben Lomond. There is a tag that reads Marshall Field & Company Picture Galleries. A stamp on the frame holding the canvas reads Feb. 2, 1886. Does anyone know any history of this piece?

Hi, I found a signed painting by above artist , (a watercolour maybe mixed media). The picture has a featured ? gondola with a man and long oar, along with 2 others in the distance. There is also a featured boat with 2 obvious sails, with grouped boat s behind and others way in distance. A domed building is in the distance. I would be grateful for any info. thanks

I have a watercolour by the above artist. I do not believe it is a print. It is framed in very old frame and held in place with very old and blackened tacks or nails. The picture is of 6 sailing boats and there are domed buildings in the far distance. There is a floating barrel in the foreground.Any assistance would be appreciated.

i have two pictures ,obviously done by the same artist ,one clearly by the above named, two very close up thatched cottages and flower gardens.one woman sitting appears to be sewing a dress, the other a woman at the gate of the cottage. both very englishy country cottages and gardens with oak beams and latticed windows. any information appreciated.

My father-in law had memories of a painter coming to his home and painting their garden.We have the watercolour and in the lower left hand corner is written Lock Garden Benson AdeBreanski,followed by a vertical line and the date 1919

de Breanski Pertshire Hills painting
I am trying to determine if the painting "Among the Pertshire Hills" was done by Alfred Sr. or Alfred Jr. It seems to be signed lower right corner: A. de Breanski but looks like a vertical line (same height as capital letters)right the after the name. Could that be Junior's abbreviation?

I have an old picture,I think or hope it is a painting which signed by A.De Breanski I think the other word is Jnr. It features 5 two masted and sailed sail boats 3 small rigger type boats manned by one person with a rear mounted long oar there is a moring barrel in the centre of the picture foreground and in the far back it appears to be rounded dome buildings and a tower building not unlike where muslim ? wailers climb and chant their prayers,the frame appears to be quite old and has a date hand written on the back saying 9-7-30, I am completly at loss with art work and would appreciate any help with this enquiry thank you

"a venitian night" and"a highland ????rent"
I have two small prints of the above mentioned.. I too cannot find any info. on these prints. The name of the prints on on the lower edge of the wooden frame on a metal nameplate.These are not oils , just prints.. Any info would be appreciated.

I have two paintings by Alfred de Breanski jr."The Upper Lake, Killarney" and "Gap of Dunloe, Killarney". I have made numerous searches on the Internet, but found no matches. These paintings do exist, and I am surprised at the negative results. Please, can you enlighten me in anyway?
