I live in North Ga. Mountains now but was married in Fla. in 1961. Fred was painting a mural for the Seminole Village herehere in Fla. Fred and his wife were guests at wedding and He gave as a wedding gift 2 of his tempra paintings circa 1961. A large Indian Chief smoking a peace pipe
circa 1961 and a wooden tomahawk he had personally made for us. He said the tomahawk was a tradition of his tribe that was given to the couple to hang outside their abode to ward off evil and bring good to the couple.Fred and his wife exhibited his works at the Sign and Pictorial Exbo that we were in charge of. It was at the Seville on Miami Beach. They were frequent guests at our Home.

I live in Ardmore, OK and have 4 (tempera)paintings circa 1957-58. I graduated highschool here in 1958. I don't know the value of the art but I do love his work. There is a private school here named after him (Beaver Academy.) You might contact the Greater SW Historical Museum at 580-226-3857 for more information. He was well known around here.
