H. V. Law California Oil Paintings 1931- 1939
I inherited three H.V. Law oils ranging in size from 24 x 20 to 24 x 29. The subjects are a coastal sand dune-ocean scene of Monterey Co., oak woodland-grassland and coastal canyon with chapparal and creek. I would be interested in learning more about the artist and his work. The works were purchased in San Francisco by my great uncle probably in the 1950's.I would consider loaning the pieces for a California landscape show. The pieces were restored by Northern California Art Conservators in Sacramento. They mounted the pieces in hand carved molded gold leaf frames.
