Single Adorable Puppy
My parents brought me this picture from a trip to Oregon. I can't seem to locate the name of this picture, or any information. Does anyone happen to know?

The D. A. C. initials are for the Donald Art Company Incorporated. They issued copyrights to lithographs.

I too have one of her lithographs that I haven't seen on any board yet. It is of a child with blue eyes, looking out the window to the right at a bird with a red head and white stomach, on a branch with needles.

I remember looking at that print above my crib as a child.

I hope that answers a couple of peoples question about the initials for them. The prints don't seem to sell for very much, approx. $25-$55 from what I've seen at auction. Retail may be slightly higher.

The Child Jesus
Looking into your Ask/Art Biography for Florence A. Kroger, I found that she was an illustrator, and was a resident of Los Angeles in the early 1930's and then moved to San Francisco. I thought others who have an interest in her would also like to know that, since I did too. I imagine she lived in Los Angeles when she painted "The Child Jesus".

Value of Florence Kroger print
I too, have a print of a curly blond child sleeping, dressed in pink, laying on a ruffled pillow with blue blanket, holding a sleeping stuffed dog. The child has eyes closed.
The back of the hardboard print has stamped on it, "SM33. Kroger, Sweet Dreamer" It has Florence Kroger printed on the front left side of the print. Thank you.

Hello everyone. I too have a Florence Kroger painting but, none of which any of you have posted. Mine is of a woman. I know it's religious. This painting is kind of creepy in a sense but I can't seem to find any info. This picture, no matter where you hang it and where you are at in the room, her eyes are always staring at you. The Boy Jesus
Lana, I too have a copy of the 1934 Messenger The Boy Jesus. My Mother had it in a frame at her house. There was a magazine at one time called the Messenger and I think that my picture must have been inside of it or was a gift given to the subscribers. There is no printing on it other than the Signature of Florence Kroger and the Initials D. A. C. I do not know it's worth but to me it is priceless. My daughter has since found laminated Holy Cards of the same picture that she gives to her little children friends. They are truly beautiful. Enjoy it no matter it's worth.
