My parents had one of his signed oil paintings. I seem to remember that my mother told me that he liked to visit our home on Alloway Creek where he would sit down by the creek with his easel and paint. This might have been in the 40's, or perhaps earlier.

History
I have a painting that hung in my grandparents livingroom forever. I have early childhood memories surrounding this picture of a fisherman and a woman in a boat. The woman is steering with a paddle while he rests. My great-grandparents may have known your uncle according to family. Do your paintings depict people or landscape?
