Charles Kerins David, I was Diane Kerins best friend ( she passed away a few years ago ) and still friends with Leslie although I haven't heard from her in a while. I actually have a piece of his work that was left to me by Diane. although he mostly did illustrations I have a portrait piece. If you should find that the town does do an exhibit let me know and I would loan the piece for it.

Artist Recognition in Scituate As a Scituate native and a long time student of Scituate history,I Think Charles Kerins and his work should be recognized. What comes to mind is an exhibit of his art in the town that was his principle home and studio,Scituate. Many years ago I met his daughter Leslie and viewed some of her artwork. At the time I did not know that her father was such an accomplished artist. In the years that followed I would come across long time Scituate residents that knew the Kerins family, all praising Mr.Kerin's talent but it was not until the internet that I was able to view his work and read up about this local master.Scituate has a fascinating and proud history of people and events. Charles Kerins and his talent should be recognized and appreciated by the town where he spent so many years. An exhibit would be wonderful.
