George Henry Goddard
George Goddard is an Uncle to Goddard Gale, my GG Grandfather. Goddard Gale followed his Uncles footsteps to CA from England. He traveled Canada painting for survey expos, BC to Banff. Arriving in SF in the late 1800's, he lived as an artist painting the West Coast until his death in 1938, Oakland, CA. I have beautiful water colors of early California landscapes, by Goddard Gale.
I am interested in information on either artist.

George Goddard was my great , great , great grandfather,,, I have a nice watercolor of a High Sierra Lake. We also, have his British passport, which is very interesting,,,,, before coming to Calif, he went to Italy, before unification, its stamped with entrance visas from the various kingdoms..... such as the kingdom of Naples,
