I have an original oil on canvas painting 36"x24" of blonde nude partially covered by pink wrap over hips while lying on a sofa. My dad purchased it in the 70's and died in 1983. He told me the artist captured the best features of multiple women to paint the most beautiful woman in Leo's mind. I'm curious regarding it's value.

I was familiar with his work when I was living in the Redondo Beach/Torrance CA area in the 70s. I have a beautiful 22x28 oil on canvas painting of a sailing ship with a signature of "Leo". It has some identifying info on the back. Is there someone who would know if he ever signed "other subjects" in this manner. I am not sure where I purchased it but I will try to find a sales slip.

I have a beautiful oil painting on canvas of a partially nude girl signed by Leo Jansen in the right hand corner. There is no thumb print on the back. Did he ever not put this mark on the reverse side? It definitely looks like an original. Thanks.

I inherited a very beautiful print / reproduction of a nude by Leo Jansen that is beautifully framed. The print is on board and in an excellent condition, 120 x 60 cm, with the frame 132 x 72 cm. The nude is a young girl, completely naked, lying on a bed with slightly raised legs. The colours are pale, violet, pink and blue. The girl is looking straight in the face of an onlooker. Who can tell me more about the work and the value of this print?

I decided to go ahead and share a picture I took of the painting I am talking about. I've never seen this particular painting with all of the searches I've done online. Who knows, it might be a knockoff for all I know. I know it's not an original due to several factors (no signature with thumb print on the back, and the sig on the painting is in the wrong corner) but I'd love any information that someone might have to offer. Jansen print? Beautiful blonde on fence
I have inherited a painting (I believe it is a print) with Jansen's signature on the left-hand corner. The painting is a beautiful, dark-blonde wearing unbuttoned jeans and a denim shirt. She has a turqoise necklace on in the shape of a six-pointed star. I have pictures of it to share if anyone is interested in seeing it. I don't really care about value of the painting, because I believe it is just a print (it's a canvas stapled to the original frame with a serial number of sorts on the frame) but if anyone has any info on the painting itself or the model in it, I sure would appreciate an email. i have come into possession of a work of Leo Jansen. it is titled 'felicia' and is of a partially naked lady. because it is mostly geyish blue in colour would it be a print or lithograph? i have no idea about art and have no where to check as i live in a rural area.it seems smooth and is on board.please give me your input and thoughts on this :)
