Ginger Osgood Painting I have a painting that appears to be the face of a child with long hair. The painting is black and the hair and features are highlighted in red. The artist signature is in the upper left corner to appear as part of the highlight. On the back of the picture written in pencil is "Ginger Osgood Sept 1961" There is a framers sticker on the back from Palisades Picture Gallery Custom Framing 15125 Sunset Blvd, Pac Palisades. The picture is framed in a black laquered frame with canvas. You can see the sides of the picture where whatever frame was used to keep the pictures inside its intended dimensions was pulled on completion leaving a rough edge. Anybody have any ideas about this picture, please email me. Thanks

Something more about Ginger I have received 2 pieces of art from Ginger personally (one for my high school graduation and one for my wedding (both in 1000 Oaks, CA). It was wonderful to be invited into her studio to select the piece of my choice. It is entitled Rolling Hills and features a lone oak tree which used to be a familiar landscape feature for people driving from L.A. to 1000 Oaks. I also know that after Freeman died, Ginger held several seances in an attempt to contact him because before his death they made a pact that they would try to connect from beyond "the veil" or however you like to think of it. She was a great person and I am sorry that she spent the last 10 or so years of her life in solitude.

Seriograph "Blaz On" I have a small 14" X 11" seriograph signed by Ginger Osgood. It was sold by the Salzer Galleries in LA in Dec. 1966. I really like the piece and am looking for any info on it. It has a "Christmas" feel to me as it seems to depict throngs of onlookers gazing at a bright star. I have not seen any others like it although a piece titled "On They Come" has a similar feel. I find the works I see of hers on this site and others to moving and beautiful, and hope to find other pieces going forward.

Interesting painting Has anyone ever heard of a painting by Ginger Osgood (Worthley) called Day into Night? It is a large painting on Masonite. I am also looking for lists of her paintings. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am not interested in buying any artwork at this time so no salespersons, please.

Ginger Osgood: Artist, Scrapbooker and Friend Ginger Osgood was a neat lady and a major, major scrapbooker, and we often worked on our scrapbooking together, when we both had time, which was not as often as either of us liked. She was the one who told me about this ingenious new scrapbooking glue, from Switzerland, that eliminated my paste bumps 100[%]. And I still use that glue, which comes in a neat blue and white tube. Ginger was a neighbor of mine at one time when she was working on a commission for one of our local gated communities, she was actually commissioned to make gates for them as I recall, and I have many of her works on paper. I find that they lift my spirits in time of trouble. She could be a major ballbuster at times, but I liked her. Sincerely, Congresswoman Sherri Davis, R-CA

Ginger Osgood, sometimes Worthley Ginger Osgood was married to the artist R.Freeman Worthley, however she never formally took his name. She is occassionally refered to as such however. She also often did not number her work as technically a serigraph is always an original. Hope that helps clear things up!
