Bill Zeigler's Teaching Bill was an excellent teacher. He taught basic techniques of all water based media and then pushed his students to develop their own styles. He taught at a number of the art guilds in the Philadelphia area. He was proud of the fact that no one could pick out his students' work at the art shows as each one was unique to that individual artist and not a copy of their teacher. I studied watercolor with him for several years and he taught me more about color theory, design, and even the chemistry of the paints than I ever learned in my college art courses.

Bill Zeigler's watercolors I've known Bill's work for many years and have always loved his watercolors. I, in fact, own several. Some of his paintings are very realistic, but not in a photographic way. Many are not. In many he pushes color and line for better composition. He was a very good painter of landscapes and buildings in particular and an excellent draftsman.
