Signature Example I recently purchased an oil painting of a beautiful wave crashing against a bluff, through the waves sunlight can be seen., It's a very dark painting, but lots of orange from sun in sky. You can guess at it being sunrise or sunset. It has mist from the water above the wave. The painting is quite breathtaking. It's signed LaVigne "87" Does anyone have an example of his signature? I really would appreciate it. Thank you.

Keith Sanzenbach, do you know him? I recently came across some awesome ink drawings of this artist. Does anyone know about him. The only think I was able to find out was that he lived at University Avenue in Syracuse, NY in the early 50's. He also might have been exhibiting in 1975: "Art as a Muscular Principle: Ten Artists & San Francisco 1950-1965," Mount Holyoke College, South Hadley, MA, but I am not sure. Any ideas how I could find out more about this man?

Robert I knew him when i lived in seattle in the early-mid '90s. We spent a lot of time together in his apt. above pike place market. He's a great man. He's wonderful. I miss him.

Robert LaVigne Met Robert in 1961 and have visited him as recently as 2005 in Seattle.
Have lost touch as he was doing a forced temporary move as his place is being retrofitted.
Own two beautiful oils, from 80's "Brownout" and Dream Study-one watercolor.
Please let me know if anyone has heard anything about him recently. We had been communicating several times a month. I know his health was not good.

Have LaVigne sketch from 1980 in Spokane... Hi, Robert did this small drawing with a reference to "Murasaki" for me, after attending a party of mine and voicing disproval of my artistic efforts (I agree with his accessments). any insight would be appreciated... - mike e.
