Hi I also have a Maud Humphrey oil painting that I found in an antique store in Regina Saskatuwan about 15 years ago it is a painting of little children in playing in a meadow. It is signed Maud Humphrey Bogart 1890Could you tell me if it is a print or real. It is painted on a wooden canvas with a Victorian brown frame.

I have 2 calanders, 1904 and 1905 that have pictures signed by maud humphrey. They are Equitable life advertising, and were printed by Gray Lithograph company. Each calander has 6 paintings by Maud Humphrey. If anyone has information about these I would love hearing from you.

Four Little Darkeys Print
I have an original print by Maud Humphrey called Four Little Darkeys Copywright date is 1981 that was matted with an ivory frame in 1901 (hand written on back of the matt in pencil!).The name of the print and artist is on a very old label on the back as well. It is a picture of 4 black babies and I cannot find it anywhere online. I am wondering how to find out its worth.

I have a print titled East West Hames best signed M A Cathbury, dated 1893.
The view of a hearth with child, cat and toys seen in other Maud Humphrey prints suggests the same artist. Any information would be appreciated????

My friend Diane has had a print for many years, but we cannot find anything about it. It shows a child in a chair, a book has dropped to the floor, and what looks like father time is touching her shoulder and looking at an hourglass. It has a pencil mark onthe back that shows "04", so we are assuming it is 1904. Any ideas on the value or story about this pic?

I know through research, that she was the mother of Humphrey Bogart the actor; and she did illiterations for Gambel Baby foods;but he said, He was not her model. I'm interested to know the value; other than my own.

Do I have a Maud Humphrey print?
I am trying to determine whether or not the print "A New Mother" that I have - contemporary to her time - is a Maud Humphrey or not. The first name of the signature looks like "Maud" but the last name is so stylized that I can't read it. Anybody know of a website or popular reference work that may be in a public library that would show her signature? Thanks, D.J.
