Shozo Nagano Shozo was a gentle, humble, and very creative artist that I had the true pleasure to know. I am glad I made him smile and laugh. He will be missed. Heiwa, Gini

Nagano legacy Shozo stills remains with us in all his humble, enlightened awareness that touched endless people of all walks of life. He deserves an honorable tribute to his legacy of consciousness and the study of the human as well as the otherworldly.

SHOZO NAGANO SHOZO NAGANO
The other night I heard he’d died, The final battle lost, they sighed. The name cards in his shows will say, “-D 2007”, Before his pictures I am riven.
Recalling and remembering; In my mind I saw him painting, By the easel. saw him making Wooden frames and forms.
The art he made was so refined, It stole a place within one’s mind, They had the feel of natural space, Human form caught in its daily pace.
His otherworldly pieces framed, With brass or wood he sometimes planed, And now he’s gone but not forgot, How will they mark his grave’s head spot?
Who can follow such an artist? Who can say what accomplished? Who define his vast inner scope, When he has made more than we could hope?
Shozo is in that atelier, Where his music he can hear, To build his great art parade, In that place where talent’s laid.

Shozo's death I just heard today about Shozo's passing. I met him when he'd been in the US for only a month or so, (1965?) and bought my first Nagano painting from him. If anyone has more info about his passing, services, etc, please let me know.
