G. Osby oil painting I just inherited 2 oil paintings from my parents, signed by G. Osby (one is an ocean scene, and the other birch trees with a lot of yellow foilage). As I recall, when we used to live in CA a long time ago, this person or their spouse were friends with my parents, and did these for them. It would have been in the San Jose, CA area. I was trying to find them on the internet.

Abstract signied Larissa Geisse Osby 1959 I have acquirred an abstract work I believe to be pen and ink. It is approximately 30" x 16" and is of what I believe is a lanscape. The upper area is torn away to give depth and contrast to the horizon. This work is signed Larissa Geoss Osby 1959. I would appreciate any information about this piece and/or the artist. I welcome correspondence

Osby oil painting To Steve and Gus, Unfortunately, the works in question are not my paintings. Both the subject matter and the signature are not mine. I have never signed my work as "G. Osby". Also, I have never sold realistic subject matter. I hope you find the artist who did the works you describe.

Larissa Osby Mrs. Osby was my Art Teacher in High School. She is the greatest teacher I have ever had. She used to teach in Pittsburgh's Creative and Performing Arts High School (CAPA High). If you have a painting of hers hold onto it forever. She is a wonderful world famous artist. Because of Ms. Osby I am a proud Artist and a Teacher at the Pittsburgh Public Schools. Bless your heart, Ms. Osby, and Thank you.

Oil on canvas I purchased an oil on canvas painting 20"x16" signed "G. Osby 70" with not title. The painting represent an old cabin or small cottage in a winter scene with blue sky and a lot of brown influence. I am wondering if this was done by larissa Geiss Osby. Did Osby signed painting using G. Osby? Any helpful information is appreciated. I welcome correspondence. Thanks, Gus
