I purchased 6 Phil Austin A.W.S. / Today's Health Magazine prints this afternoon. Titles are as follows: (1) Fog on the Beach, Puget Sound Islands, (2) Cape Hatteras Light, Outer Banks, (3) Nantucket Windmill, (4) Lobster Men, Mount Desert Island, Maine, (5) Apostle Islands, and (6) Shimpers, Key West. I was wondering if anyone could help me out in determining the value.

I have two Phil Austin Prints that were found and were mailed as a Christmas present in 1968 with a letter from Hollister?. They are both around 20x28. They Litogravings, one is called "Old Red Barn in Winter" the other I am not sure about. Does anyone have any information on if these are worth anything?

I've had a large Phil Austin watercolor tittled Salmon fishermen Location Kotzebue, Alaska dated Dec. 1976 hanging in my living room for 30 years.I love it, it was a gift from my dad. It had hung in his office before that. I'm not sure if he purchased it from Phip or if it was a gift.Phil and my dad were dear friends from the 1950's. If there is a book of his painting I would love to have one

I have a painting by Phil Austin. It is of two fishermen in a small boat fishing off of the coast with mountains to the left of the painting and a rock formation in the water with trees growing on the rocks. Anyone have any idea where and what year this painting was done? Any help appreciated.

My father in law died on Febuary 12, 2004. He was 94. He left 31 decendents...5 children, 13 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. His paintings are wonderful and his legacy lives on in his children.

In response to Liz Webber's inquiry, I have found the following information in a biographical brochure about Phil:
"Scheduled exhibitions include a yearly Coffee Hour and Open House at Mathon's Seafood Restaurant in Waukegan, Illinois (40 years now) - the first Monday evening of November from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m."
The brochure was published about 1997.

I purchased a sketch by Phil Austin & when I opened the back I found it to be a menu from the Mathon's restaurant. The boat in front is the Mathon. I wonder where the boat and restaurant are, if the restaurant still is?
