I own many works by Keehn I meet evan keehn a few years ago he is still living in a basement on a floor pad surrounded by hundreds of rare books which he has amazing knowledge of what's in every book. this man is brilliant we have spoken many times and i have purchased many paper drawing from him. He stopped painting because of the death of his wife and a friend in DC when he was doing political cartoon during the 70s.. I know a lot and its a amazing story. this man is a mess but is brilliant he is the real deal.. if anyone wants to know more let me know.

recent encounter I spent a whole morning this fall talking with Evan at a little sidewalk coffee café in Philadelphia. We spoke of many things and he explained much of his life to me.

Evan Keehn Evan Keehn studied at the Maryland Institue of Art under Jacques Maroger. He was one of the original Members of the 6 Realists of Baltimore that also included William Thomas Rowe, Joseph Shepard, Earl Francis Hofmann, John Bannon, and Frank Redelius.
