Bill and Carol
I first met Bill and Carol when they had a part of their gallery set up on the lower level of the Tucson Mall during the Christmas season of 1985. I was the manager of Daniels Jewelry store then. I enjoyed their friendliness, conversation and of course the art work. I still have the pieces I purchased hanging on my walls in Iowa. My favorite is "The Quail Mob". I moved away from the area in '89, but when I'd come for a visit, I always made a point to find his current studio at the mall and stop in to visit and of course purchase. Count yourself blessed if you have ever met Bill and Carol and got the chance to become, I consider friends. It has been a long time since my last trip to Tucson, but I guess because I look at Bills artwork everyday in my home,he and Carol are quite often in my thoughts.

tile work
I have one that I do not see anywhere else. It says
"the artwork displayed here in these beautiful and handcrafted ceramic tiles was designed by Mr. Zivic using our centuries old Wax and Glaze technique MASTERWORKS handcrafted tiles is proud to be amoung the few selected companies licenced to produce Mr.Zivics works.
It is signed in front, and signed on the back lable with "happy trails Jack. Bill Zivic 1987.
It is a picture of a cowboy on horse. He is in a yellow coat, wearing a cowboy hat, and it is raining and there is a calf just found.
Does anyone have any information about this one?
