T. H. Wilkinson painting of Horseshoe Bend on the James River
I am in need of information concerning this painter. I have inherited a water color painting by T.H. Wilkinson. The scene is of the famous Horseshoe bend on the James River at Scottsville, VA and the C&O railway. The painting is appx. 3ft. by 2ft. in the original glass covered frame. A Photo may be possible. Being from Canada I am interested in his travels to Virginia. Was this possibly a commisioned work by the C&O railway? Thank you
