BARN CATS BY GERALD L LUBECK
Have a print by Gerald L Lubeck that I purchased several years ago titled "Barn Cats". I just wondered if someone also had a copy of it. Was curious as to what city and state that would be in.

Curious, et al.
One man's trash is another man's treasure. So, "yes" to all who want to know "if their painting has value". The question "how much?" is why AskArt sells subscriptions. They can give you a very good idea.
Ebay can also give some idea, but appraiser's have done appraisals on Lubeck's work and give you a professional idea of fair market value, and certify the Authenticity of your painting. So, at least get a subscription with AskArt. It is a very good start. As good as Davenport's in my opinion.
Have a Great Day!

Numbered print titled Quiet Setting
My friend's mother recently passed away and left this print to him. He wishes to be able to find the actual barn that G. Lubeck painted. If it still exists, this would be another connection with his mother. The painting is of a wood and stone barn with white sheep and yellow field flowers. The time frame must have been late spring or summer. Any help would be appreciated.

Print called New Generation
I purchased this G. Lubeck signed, numbered print, dated 1980, from an antique dealer. It depicts a stone and wood barnyard with sheep. I love it for two reasons: I live in a converted stone bank barn and it has a black sheep in the lower front corner, away from the flock and that black sheep symbolizes my life, doing my own thing, not following the flock. I would love to meet the artist one day. I am a budding artist who hand dyes wool and creates rugs of people's sporting dogs. My studio is in the lowest portion of our barn, where the animals (sheep and cows) were once kept and this lovely space opens out into the barnyard. The print has a calm beauty to it. Thank you Gerald.
