Fredrick Mortimor Lamb oil painting I grew up in Stoughton, Massachusetts. Mort Lamb lived there for many years. I have inherited a small landscape oil painting, which I believe is of an old home in Stoughton. My sister also has a very large still life, a vase of flowers, it's quite beautiful. The paintings were given to my grandfather who knew the artist quite well. My grandfather was Arthur Holmes Dykeman, who was a life time resident of Stoughton as well.

Lamb and paintings Lamb and his aprentice Robert W. Webb traveled throughout the New England area in the early 1900's. Webb was later the head painter and artist of Williamsburg and creator of the Williamsburg colors mixed from original natural materials as taught him by Lamb. I have several Lamb paintings given to my grandfather Webb
