Hardenbergh painting I have an oval oil on panel of two dead woodcock gamebirds hanging from a nail. The background is painted to look like knotty pine boards and it is signed on the lower corner G. R. Hardenbergh, 1903. This has been in our family since 1963 and originally belonged to a banker named Foster from Brandon, Wisconsin. Any information would be appreciated.

Gerard Rutgers Hardenbergh Painting I have a painting signed in lower left corner by Hardenberg. Watercolor of autumn landscape reflected in a pond with a farmhouse and wall in the distance, approx. 10"x24". Looking for info on what location might be.

Watercolors By G.R. Hardenbergh I have 5 or 6 original watercolor paintings done by this popular artist dated in the late 1800's. I am looking for someone to shed some light on this artist.

response to ANN Hi Ann, sounds like a good painting. It seems like it may be two men collecting salt hay. Interesting subject matter!! I've been a collector of his work for over 30 years. I live on the Barnegat bay where Gerard lived and painted. I would love to see a picture of the piece if you can send a photo to my email I will be able to give more info. Thanks, Tom
