The Susquehanna J.F. Cropsey 1886 Hi I have just acquired a painting by J.F Cropsey. It looks to be a reproduction number there is a number 351c on the back. The front of the painting is signed very faintly in the lower right corner. Can you possible give me a time frame of when this was reproduced?
Thanks

The Susquehanna J. Cropsey This painting was given to my grandparents for their wedding in 1944. It is in the original gold frame and has a brass plate in the middle with J Cropsey - The Susquehanna. I can provide pictures if needed. I am looking for the value of this picture as well as the authenticity of it. Thanks!

J.F. cropsey painting (1876) This painting is of a lake or pond setting with a what looks like a sawmill behind the pond(red colored) with what appears to be a couple crossing a bridge. A small boat and birds are seen in the water and cattle in the background can be seen. The painting is quite large and has what looks to be a certificate of aunthenticity of the back that looks quite old by how the paper is a yellowing color.

J.F. Cropsey, Etching I purchased a small, very old reproduction, of an etching by J.F. Cropsey, produced by R. Hinshelwood, Eng. entitled "The Old Mill".
Cannot find any mention of Cropsey having done any etchings (possibly Silver Point).
The etching has a huge old mill, ducks, a boat, man, woman, dog, lots of trees and water.
Is there any reference to this work that anyone knows of and does it represent any value?

The Old Windmill My friend has a painting of J.F.Cropsey and I looked it up and the painting is called The Old Windmill signed J.F. Cropsey 1876 and I was wondering if anyone had any information on it.I can't seem to find anything online about the painting itself.

Cropsey Posting Obviously, w/out seeing the painting it's impossible to say for sure, but in my research I've never seen a Cropsey painting signed just "Francis." He usually signs "J.F. Cropsey" or w/ just the initials "J.F.C."
