information about a piece of art
I have what appears to be a pencil sketch by A. M. Upjohn. How can I tell if it is authentic? It is difficult to tell, but I do not think it is a print, but actually a graphite rendering. The title is typed on a strip of paper that is adhered to the back of the drawing. It says: Czecholovakia - Trengin Castle ... along the course of the River Vaag. An old friend gave it to me and he got it at a yard sale. The backboard is becoming a bit tattered, and I would like to preserve it if worthwhile. Your suggestions would be appreciated.
Sincerely,
Sheila Peters
