Painting by Augustus Burke
Hi Veronica,

Augustus Burke is an important 19th century Irish artist. He has a painting in the National Gallery of Ireland of the same title. If you google the name you will see it.

If you have a picture of your painting I would like to see it.

Regards,

Maebh O'Regan

Pushman lithograph
I have a Pushman lithograph which my grandfather purchased in the late '30s or early '40's. It is in an ornate frame, behind glass, but I can't find the name of the piece. In the forefront is a statue of a horse, there's a green urn in the right hand corner, and samll statue of perhaps a god in the left corner. Almost imperceptible in the background is the head of a man and a many armed god.

I would welcome any information anyone might have on this work.

Pushman's
We have come across a Pushman that definitely resembles his work. However, it is unsigned. Was he in the habit of signing all his works?
