Waugh in St Ives
I am an English art historian and I am writing a book/curating an exhibition on early St Ives art. In this connection, I am interested to locate paintings or images of paintings executed by this artist in St Ives/Cornwall and any relevant letters/ephemera.

International Epical Dawn

My grandfather commissioned F. Waugh to paint a commemorative of Linberg's crossing. It was titled "International Epical Dawn", I believe. It was a sunrise with the plane flying near the horizon. There were actually two such paintings--one had the plane removed later, I'm told. It was sold at auction some years ago. I'm interested in knowing where it is now. I can share some lore on this picture with any who might be interested.

Frederick Judd Waugh
Covering the opening of the new George Bruce Branch Library in 1915, the New York Times noted that "the top floor has a series of panels by Frederick Waugh." The library in the Manhattanville section of West Harlem, NYC, is still functioning. I would like any info surrounding Waugh's artwork there. Thank you.
