FF ENGLISH ORIGINAL WATER COLOR
I have what I believe to be an original water color, cows under a tree. I'm interested in what it might be worth. It came from the art collection of Addison Mizner. Long story about that! Anyone with info on value please let me know. Thanks

FF English, After Glow
I have a old print of FF English's titled After Glow. It's 3 horses, pulling a cart with a man in it. There is no date, or print #, but you can tell it is very old. It is only marked as Hen.Lith.Co.Cin.OH. There is what appears to be a price on the back of $2.15. Any info, including value would be greatly appreciated.

I found a great print by FF English dated 1906 and signed copyright by F.F. English. It was hiding behind an old painting I bought at an auction. It is of a couple who appear to be burning brush at a road edge. There is a man astride two large draft horses who seems to be visiting with the couple. I love the stories that go with his paintings. Can you tell me about FF English and this picture? When did he begin making prints of his watercolours?

I have three large prints, although one is signed by F. E. English, with Copyrite by A. Fox 1907 on all of them and numbers 1613 on one of them. The others also have numbers in lower rt corner but are not distinguishable. What is known about these? One is a blacksmith shoeing horses scene and the others are agricultural scenes with horse drawn wagons

The Clearing
I received a print from my grandmother marked "The Clearing" and has the number 220 and copyright 1908 A. Fox Phila. I had assumed this was the artist until reading the board. Does this title sound familiar to anyone? Could it be a FFE print? Any insight would help. Thank you.

I found an old F.F. English Print. It is dated 92, and on the back is Hoover's Watercolors of Phila with the title of Autum Twilight. Can anyone tell me about the print?

I have a print of F.F. English, it is called After the Storm. My grandmother had it as long as I can remember, then she gave it to me.
It says on the bottom next to K. F. F English, Copyright, S. S. Porter and is numbered 28
I would like some info on it's worth if possible. Or just any info at all would be great.

F.F. English winter watercolor
I have become the owner of a 20 X 26 original watercolor. It is a winter snow scene with a sled pulled by two horses, with children waving to the driver. I had never heard of English until this fell into my hands. I have not seen many snow scenes. Did he do many of them? Will appreciate any information.

Found F.F. English painting in a wall!
Several weeks ago, while remodeling an out-building on my circa 1860 property, I found an original Frank F. English painting sealed inside of the wall! Why someone hid the painting in the wall is beyond me, but I'm glad they did! I showed it to a friend of mine that is into art and he said that it is an original watercolor. I am wondering how much it is worth so if anyone can help me identify it, I can send pics. Is there a way to post pics of it on this site? Thanks.

I have several versions of this print, most of them cropped to be used for calendars etc... The publisher, A. Fox is often misinterpreted as R.Atkinson Fox and often his work is attributed to him.... Mr. English's artwork was sold and promoted by A.Fox and other publishing houses such as Jos. Hoover, Chas Williams and S.S. Porter, for years as many differnt prints (some signed, but most not)for years after Frank English's death...

I have been a collector of F.F. English artwork for years.... although I have only one original painting, I have 70-80 different prints by FFE and always searching for more.... I have been perplexed all these years as to why Mr. English has not rec'd the notoriety that seems his due.... His work was often cropped and calendars and puzzles of his work often did not credit him.... I would like to hear from other collectors.... thanx -- Don Jackson

Does anyone have info on Frank's stay in Claymont Delaware (i.e., dates, where, etc)?

I have a 18" X 28" Frank English painting signed FF English. I think it is one of the "Harvest Time" watercolor paintings but instead of two dark horses and one white, it has two white horses and one dark one pulling the hay cutter. Every thing I see with three horses is two dark & one white. Is this significant to dating or valuing this painting? I am a new fan of Frank English. I recently came across more of Frank F. English's original artwork on a website if anyone is interested. I personally believe his watercolors have an extraordinary depth of field and color. Does anyone else notice his abiblity to capture dimension?

I found a print named "After Glow" behind a print I bought at an antique store. The initials FF English are in the right bottom corner. Any idea of time of print and value? Is this a print by Frank English? It's quite beautiful.
