Daniel Garber paintings - beware
My family has many DG works and I'm always looking around the web and eBay for them. I'm disturbed by the number of fakes, there are many- both old and signature-added modern. Some don't sell for $200 on eBay (good job folks- never buy a signature!), but I saw one sell for over 10k that was NOT real. Everything was wrong; style, color, subject, frame, signature WAY off like they'd never even seen a real one. Moral is, for DG or any expensive work, know what you're buying!

I just wanted to thank you for this detailed biography of my great, ", " uncle Daniel Garber. My father, is Robert Hunt, his mother's maiden name was Mary Garber. My Grandmother's father's name was Robert Garber. Robert Garber's father was Allen Garber. Allen Garber's brother was Daniel Garber.
I am very happy to know that I am the nephew of a famous artist. For I too am an artist. I paint in oil on canvas. I guess it's in the genes.
