I have been trying to find information out on a painting I have. It's called the Belgian Village with a author of Delormel for the last name. First name is Ch or Ah. Sometimes it's hard to read signatures. It's about 28x26. Thanks Mary

I bought a pastel of a very pretty young woman. It is very good and signed by Jerry E. Johnson. I need info. I am interested in finding info on the artist and the subject. Is this an Eastman Johnson portrait?

I purchased a portrait of a man, by Eastman Johnson, about 10 years ago.
It was originally donated to the Cincinatti Museum of Art in 1931.
I have been able to confirm by the Museum, that it is an Eastman Johnson Painting, and that they had deassessed it about 20 years ago, but nothing else.
Is there any way to find out who the sitter was?

J.E. JOHNSON- The Cradle Of Liberty
Found a very large sketch Black on White. Signed on picture and below sketch in pencil. Called "Faneuil Hall the Cradle of Liberty". Copyrighted 1888. Have not seen any work like this one by Johnson. Any help would be greatly recieved. Thank You

This 1856-57 charcoal and crayon work of E.J is of major interest to me as one having 1856/57 Ojibwe roots.
Where was the sketch made by E.J please? And what does the Ojibwe sentence say?
