signing and Inscribing Is anyone familiar with Wiggins signing and inscribing a painting on the verso once it was gifted or sold, even years after completion? or did he sign and inscribe upon completion, only?

Guy Wiggins Every so often I hear rumors of a book. Any truth to this?

Guy Carleton Wiggins I am the State Archivist of Connecticut working at the Connectocut State Library. I am working on a project funded by the legislature to identify arts and sculptors who worked for the Connecticut Federal Art Project (FAP) of the WPA during the New Deal and inventory their works from existing records. Based on records of the CT FAP, I have created biographical files for 146 artists.
Guy C. Williams was not listed as one. Since he lived and worked in Connecticut and New York City, there may be a chance that he worked for the New York WPA.
Does anyone know whether he worked for either the Connecticut or New York FAP's or for both? Any information would be appreciated.

guy c wiggins I've searched and searched, and have found numerous paintings listed here on askart.com. Is there a general list of every painting he painted during his career...I'm looking for a specific scene in New York which has not been recently auctioned or sold, so appears to be in a private collection somewhere. He seems to have painted primarily 5th, Wall st., Broadway, The Plaza.......are there other locations as well?

Guy Wiggins My grandparents, Ruth and Beaufort Newsom, who lived in Clinton, CT until 1970 knew Guy Wiggins. He painted my grandmother's garden. He titled the painting, "Ruth's Garden". She always regretted not having bought the painting. I would dearly love to know its whereabouts.
