I have a 10x13 print of Grandma Moses. It is signed. It was presented to a Gentleman form the Buffalo Historical Society many years ago. I don't know the name of the piece. Is there a place where I can search to find it?

There is a brick house in the lower right side of the print with lots of trees and people busy harvesting.

I have acquired a folder containing three Grandma Moses color reproductions. They are titled Grandma Goes to the Big City (1948), The Thrashers (1954), and a winter one that has the title trimmed off. What are they worth please? Any knowledge??

Grandma Moses, Sugaring Off print
I have recently purchased a print, signed in the right hand corner "MOSES". Written in the bottom margin are three bits of info. ... 'Copyright Galerie St. Etienne, New York...'Sugaring Off'by Grandma Moses ('Arthur Jaffe, N.Y.imp.')...'Printed in U.S.A.'. The frame looks vintageas does the print. Yet, it looks nothing like prints of the same name I have found on the internet. Mine seems much more subtle in color and the signature of the others is located to the left of the woodpile, where as mine is directly below. Any thoughts as to it's authenticity or origin? I would appreciate your response.

However, it is of a desk setting with letters to an A. Robertson at a college in Virginia. Did G. Moses ever try her hand in a different style other than what she is famous for? Hi This is my first time on this site. After reading all the comments I realize the prints I have are not that rare. It seems that there are quite a few out there. Mine are #'s S-953 & S-954. Does anyone have any info on them.They are also from C&A Richards 4x6 or 5x7 on cloth.One of them has a picture of Grandma Moses.

I purchased from a garage sale yesterday a painting signed Moses so far I can not find a copy of it on the web. Moses is signed in the right hand corner in the left corner the letter c with circle for copy and then St. C. No numbers on the picture. Grandma Moses numbered prints
I have 4 Grandma Moses prints, all numbered 1155/3000. They measure approx 24" x 18". The titles are: A Blizzard, 1956; Moving Day on the Farm, 1951; Black Horses, 1942; For This is the Fall of the Year, 1947. Does anyone have any idea how I can find out what these may be worth? They were stored flat in a box, but have some small marks from either heat or moisture.

It's Haying Time
I have a framed picture and I am trying to figure out if it is a Grandma Moses print. I would have to remove it from the frame to expose a signature in the bottom right. There is an opening in the bottom middle of the mat which says: It's haying Time by Grandma Moses, Arthur Jaffe N.Y. Imp. This print hung on the wall of a race track where my mother worked. When they remodeled the clubhouse they gave my mother the picture. I have found reference to "Haying Time", by Grandma Moses, but I can't find a picture to compare with mine. Does anyone know anything about this print?

Possible Grandma Moses Print? Help
I have a print signed/printed MOSES in the lower right corner. A scene is a brown barn, white house with people working with farm tools. A horse drawn wagon with hay, a brown dog, a black horse behind a white fence. It appears to be a dark cloud in the upper left corner of the picture, kids at play and one man pointing toward the dark clouds. Can any one help me identify the artist? It has a folk art look. Maybe Grandma Moses?

I too have a painting with the stamp on the back "Grandma Moses Property Inc. with the New City address below. My mother purchased it in 1952 in Chicago. The front is signed Moses with a copyright symbol below. My first thought was that it is a multicolored screenprint, but there are no pencil notes to indicate if it a limited edition or just a print. It is painted or printed on heavy stock paper, about 24" x 22". I, now think it is a tempera painting. Can someone help me with this?

Authenticity/location
I have 2 pieces by Grandma Moses. I would like to know because they are entitled "Early Americana" by the frame company I believe, where I can locate pictures for the authenticity of the 2 works. The pictures are very similar to others that she did. I paid a bit for them and want to be able to validate them. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Grandma Moses "Hunting fo Water"
At a recent clearing sale we purchased a bundle of artwork, this particular piece was amongst them.
It looks like it has been done in water color ona brownish paper.
On the back is a newspaper clipping that says"Grandma Moses who was 95 last september recently presented this painting to th National Art Gallery of New South Wales Australia, "Hunting for Water" was presented to the gallery by Dr. Otto Kallir who acts as a representative for Grandma Moses on the condition that the Gallery donated 150pounds to an Australian childrens charity. The money was given to the Sydney Legacy War Orphans Fund.
There is no date on the newspaper clipping, it would definitely be beforem 1964 when we changed to decimal currency.
Iwould like to know more about the painting and it's approximate value for insurance purposes.

I have seen the picture, on line, however, I bought this picture from a gentleman who stated to me that he, as a boy, lived near the artist and this painting was given to him. I have aquired two 8x10 Rubens prints "artist son and nicholas" still in the original frames. they were framed by Cataldo Fine Arts, NY. They were sent to the Warren Puplic library but I can't tell when. They look to be at least 30yrs old but ??

I am requesting any information you may be able to share with me. I have some type of cloth painting. the paint bleeds through the cloth to the back side. On the back the following are stamped in print letters:

"SPRINGTIME ON THE FARM COPYRIGHT GRANDMA MOSES PROPERTIES INC. A GRANDMA MOSES FABRIC FROM THE ORIGINAL."

ON THE OTHER END IT SAYS"

"BEST OBTAINABLE VAT DYES. SHRUNKETIZED residual shrinkage doe not exceed 2% test. A RIVERDALE FABRIC A COLOR TESTED FABRIC.
