I am her great neice looking for family Pauline Palmer was my great great Aunt. My father was Palmer Kitchen who lived in Richmond, Virginia. I have a couple pieces of her art work. I would like to have a way to connect with her family. I am an art teacher in Nashville, Tn. I was not an aknowledged relative because I was born out of wedlock for my parents. My dad told me to get in touch with his family after his death. If you have an address for her remaining family, I would like to get in touch with them. Thanks, Renee Smith Somers

A found painting Unbelievable but I bought a very large oil painting of a gentleman with a green scarf....signed by Pauline Palmer at an estate sale for $150. I love it and now realize it may be valuable. Anyone have an idea of its value.

Uncirculated PALMER oil portrait My grandfather, Richard G. Howse of Chichago, was a friend and Illinois contemporary of Ms. Palmer who either gave or sold him a signed oil portrait of a woman, full-face, wearing a white dress and blue head scarf, hand across her bosom. I notice with great interest, Ms. Palmer's bio in which she had a "significant or long-term Illinois connection." This leads me to believe that my oil is, perhaps, uncatalogued and therefore uncirculated. Can anyone kindly tell me any direction I might take in learning more about my lady looking back formn my Martha's Vineyard wall?
