Georg R. Sheets

Jeff Koons
Jeff Koons was greeted by a packed house audience when he returned to York, Pennsylvania, his hometown on September, 25, 2002 for an artist's lecture and exhibition. Entitled, "Jeff Koons: Embrace Your Past" the exhibition continues in
the Music, Arts and Communication Center on the campus at York College of Pennsylvania until November 6, 2002. Koons greeted high school art teachers, former classmates and family friends and recalled how visits to his father's ever-changing furniture store as a small child impressed upon him how mirrors, paintings and accessories affect the human spirit. For more information on this exhibition call the York College Gallery at (717) 815-1528.
