A rare find?
I had aquired a painting some years ago. In the left hand corned it there is a signature Paul Reed with the date 1936. It is not an abstract painting which he is famous for. It is a scenary picture with a river, with a well worn path on the left bank, and beautiful fall folliage trees on the right. I do not want to sell it. I want to find out more about Paul Reed. Guessing by the year he was born and the date on the picture, he was about 17 when he painted it. Any one have anything simular or know anything about his pre-abstract period? Thank you for any help you may have.
