Artist Schmid's signature
My deceased husband Robert purchased a charcoal of a nude signed by Schmid in the 1970's at an OKC art show. Trying to determine the true artist and possible value.

Billy Parks-
My stepfather, Billy Parks, I believe taught Rich. Schmid at the American Academy of Art. I have a print of his, young girl, hair hung down, writing in a book, which I now have hanging in my living room (just arrived from his estate). Billy Parks passed away a few years ago and I now have quite a few pieces of his artwork; many portraits in pastel, a few canvassas. I believe these were done possibly when he attended Layton School of Art in Milwaukee. Would like to hear from Richard Schmid (curious if he'd ever seen any of his early works) Thanks.
