Gregg painting Debbie As a 38-year employee of The Denver Post (I have 9 Paul Gregg paintings) I am intrigued by Gregg's relationship with your grandmother. Have not seen her name associated with him before. Can you send me a copy of the painting he did of her? Thanks!

Paul Gregg was my Grandmother's Friend/love My Grandmother new Paul Gregg in Denver, Colorado. He came to Laguna Beach, CA and painted a painting of my grandmother. I have the painting; however, my mother told me that he did this painting with her. I also have the original front page of the newspaper which has an original picture of his painting on the entire front page of the Denver Post..His trees are always the same. I found a book of poems from him to her. They were so in love. Her name was Olive Daniels

Gregg I would like to know something about an artist whose work was available in the 70's&80's. The artist just signed Gregg. Some of the names of the prints are, Free Spirit, Carmel Coast, Sand & Sea, Serenity, Last Outpost. These are beautiful seascapes with seagulls. I call them stormy because the clouds are dark with a ray of light and seagulls in flight. Any help in knowing who this artist is would be most appreciated. Thank you, Lenora

Paul Gregg & P.P. & P. Co. I have an illustration signed by Paul Gregg done for P.P. & P. CO. that I would like to find the name of and also where the original would be. It shows a man kneeling at a cross on a small rocky mound. A cabin and mountains are in the background. Donna Patterson

Paul Gregg Have several large oil on canvas paintings by Paul Gregg in the late 20's and early 1930's. Most of his work was done weeking for the Denver paper. And, on the back of each painting you may see the title of the piece as well as the complete date the piece appeared on the entire page of the paper. You can then obtain a copy of that edition of the paper showing the work of art with poem or captions below. The paper always printed the paintings in full color....each week.

Paul Gregg Good Luck! My grandfather was a friend of Mr Gregg's and we have an oil painting of cowboys herding cattle over a mountain painted in 1941. Years ago I tried to find information from the Denver Art Museum and the Denver Post (who published Mr Gregg's paintings on the cover of their "Empire Magazine" for years) but no luck. You might try the Colorado History Museum?

Paul Gregg original water color My wife and I have a water color by Mr. Gregg. On the back is a very old looking card board with the following "Given to Paul Ritter in the year 1904. Given to Gregory Wayt by Mrs. Paul Ritter on May 23, 1970." This is written in ball point pen. Also printed in pencil is "Drawing by Paul Gregg Return to Paul Ritter". Gregory Wayt is deceased and was my wife's first husband. My wife and first husband called it the "praying miner". The acutal print size that is visible within the matting is about 3" wide and 7.5" high. It is matted. A capital letter "G." is in the bottom right coner, visable within the mat. The entire mat and frame measure 6.5" X 12". We have never taken it out of the frame. The subject is an older man with a beard, folded hands as in praying, looking lightly upward, kneeling at a short table with a window in the background. It is so telling, simple and beautiful. Anyone out there with any insight?
