Paul Abbate was my great great uncle I would love to correspond more with you about Paul Abbate. His sister was my grandmother's mother, who married Michael Ruvolo and they lived in Torrington. My grandmother was an only child but she had many cousins, and she would often talk about her uncle Paul the artist. The only sculpture of his I ever saw was in the cemetary at the family's plots, but it was stolen, sadly. I hope you receive this as I would love to hear and see more about him! Thank you, Sue Hayes

His life and his dreams I knew Abbate since I was a little girl as my parents were his friends. I have many pictures of his work, original statues information on his life and his dreams along with a collection of his original works. Im addittion to what I know about him, I research him for two years contacting all the art gallery, museums, etc. in United States and Italy. I am sure I have the largest collection of material on him and I was prepair to write a combination art book life story on this exceptable man. I was also at his auctionand took dozens of pictures along with names and address of most of the purchases. What interest do you have in Mr. Abbate and what do you think I can do to help you.
Elinor
