Line Bloom-Draper Rubba Line's third husband, Dr. Anthony Rubba, was my uncle. I visited them several times in their home in Delray Beach before Uncle Anthony passed and Aunt Line moved to South Carolina to be near her grandson and his family. She lived there for a year until her death. I have a video of all the paintings that hung in their apartment as well as those on loan to the complex in which they lived. When she moved away from Florida, most of her work was turned over to her son who resides in Texas. Some of it accompanied her to her new home. Now that she is gone, I don't know what has become of the vast collection of her work that she treasured. At one time, there were plans to create a website on which to display the paintings but to my knowledge that has not occurred. She and my uncle Anthony were a wonderful duo in whose company it was a joy to spend time. She was a genius and had a true mastery of many artistic media. She should be celebrated and I am very sorry that so few people will know of her brilliant work.

Line Bloom-Draper I have an original watercolor of hers that I just purchased and was looking for information, also. She passed away in November of 2004 in one of the Carolinas. She had remarried and her new name was Line Bloom-Rubba. Her obit is on the Web. The painting I have is a tropical scene with a sailboat and a cabin. Anyone with more info?
